Ok, it getting closer to d-day. Whats is everyones opinion on what to do if you have a pistol brace on a firearm. I have a CZ Scorpion that I love to shoot and I need to know what I should do because it is on the list of bad scary firearms. Thanks to any help in this matter. Do I need to plan a boat accident?

If you're worried you can take the brace off the buffer tube at the very least. What you do with the brace is up to you.
In theory you're supposed to destroy it or turn it in. Not sure how they'd know if you ever had one or not.
CZ Scorpion doesn't have a buffer tube. At least with an AR pistol, you can take the brace off and install a foam pad buffer tube for a cheek weld, or fire it from the shoulder with a very short length of pull. A CZ Scorpion is kinda useless without a brace or stock, IMO.
I'd do a Form 1 and make it an SBR or sell it if it was mine.
Well you could throw a rear sling on it and go all 1980s SAS with it.
You can shoot it without the tube or the brace attached. It's just an unwieldy pistol at that point.
The tube is not part of the operating system, unlike an AR, so I think the legality of leaving the tube on it without the brace would be iffy.

It shows the ATF Director saying under oath in Congress that all you have to do is detach the brace and store away from the gun, to be in compliance. shortly after after that testimony, the ATF sent out advisory that you are a felon if you do what the director says, because the brace itself is illegal And must be destroyed.

New BATF ruling on stabilizing braces today
Can anyone catch me up on the status of the whole Pistol Brace ruling? My understanding is that as of now nothing has officially changed (meaning stabilizing braces can be used on AR pistols) but that they are talking about instituting new classification rules.
