Was a real life Beerman.....
I'm looking for any INGO member, or if you know someone that might be
willing to donate a old riding mower for a charitable cause.
Last Saturday we visited Our Little Bit of Heaven Animal Rescue and
Sanctuary looking to adopt a new pup to our family.
When we arrived we noticed that she was lugging 40 pound bags of dog
food from a storage trailer to where the pups are housed @ using a rickety
old two wheeled hand cart. Not the best thing for a older lady to be using.
After being there and finding the pup we wanted to adopt (waiting to hear
about that later today or tomorrow), we had the chance to talk some and
find out more about Our Little Bit of Heaven.
She takes care of over 150 dogs that have been found, dropped off or
abandoned with money of their own and donations, they are a 501c 3
charitable animal rescue dedicated to animals who have been abandoned
by society, and is run by Joyce on their property, along with the help of
volunteers.
So while on our way home I talked to my wife about seeing if I might be
able to located one through acquaintances I know, to no avail I was not
able to find anyone who had one.
So here I am, reaching out to my INGO brethren and sisters to see if
anyone might be able to help out.
There is no need for a mowing deck to be on it, it will be used solely to
move dog food and supplies from storage to where it will needed.
Also needed will be a small utility cart like this:
GroundWork® Heavy-Duty Utility Cart, 1,200 lb. Capacity - Tractor Supply Online Store
Which we are going to try and purchase if we have enough spare funds to do so
I know that many INGO members are parents to our furry four legged
best friends and have gotten their pups through various shelters and
organizations. I'm hoping that we as proud pet owners can help out with
this cause.
So out of any generosity that we can make this happen, I will transport
this personally down to Our Little Bit of Heaven as soon as it is acquired.
Please PM with any details for anything you can do that can help out.
Thank you in advance, Mr. and Mrs. IndyBeerman
