Our 2 year anniversary is coming up. Neither of us can come up with any ideas. Anyone have a suggestion on how a young couple can get away for a weekend in the southern half of Indiana?

Hold...on....i think i just threw up in my mouth! You shall turn in your man card immediately.

Its one thing to "have" an anniversary...its another to announce and NOT be a woman doing it.

Bennett,, plus one on Antler log cabins. The Chitwoods are the nicest people. I go to their cabins at least 3 times a year. I have never had a bad experience on their property, not to mention clean as a whistle.

A man steps up and honors his wife with romantic things. Man card is OK here.

vrbo a cabin down south somewhere. Or find a camp ground and toss up a tent for the weekend. Hiking, seclusion, nice weather, Beer, fire, beer...

Do you all like camping? I know romantic can mean a lot of different things depending on the woman? There's lots of caves down in southern Indiana that you could tour during the day

Check this place out. We go every summer. These cabins are top-notch quality and family owned. We've met some of the family and they're all good people. You wouldn't be disappointed.

That would be awesome. If she doesn't happen to like the outdoors enough for a cabin, you could try a BnB in the Nashville area and spend the days walking around the shops:

You could go down to French Lick and stay at the West Baden Springs Hotel. The casino and an indoor water park are right there in town, and some nice restaurants in the Casino. They have a train ride through the country there, too, if it runs this time of year.

The French Lick Springs Resort also has several spa packages. She can get a spa, and he can gamble and drink...heh.

+1 West Baden Springs. When it was built it was considered the 8th wonder of the world. Incredible architecture and grounds. Great place.

Try Madison, IN. Beautiful little town with lots of history and places to shop. Right on the Ohio River and some great old homes.
I second this. My wife loves to go to Madison. The Clifty Inn is a great value and sits in the hills overlooking the Ohio River.

Your asking this bunch? This ought to be good...

Hey now, there are men of a certain refinement, taste and sophistication on INGO . . . let me go get them.

    Southern Indiana?

Urban or countryside? What do you guys like to do? Bicycle tour? Museums? Hiking? Boating?
