First off I am not looking for a value in order to sell. I have searched the internets and there just isn't much info on what this gun is worth.

Couple months ago I picked up a Kimber Gold Combat Series I (no firing pin safety)

It came in the original box with the original papers, Kimber bushing wrench a manual that looks like it has never been opened and the plastic bag it came in also. It also had 1 Kimber mag without much rub markings on it and original grips.

It looks to me the gun had been carried a lot but not shot much according to the wear on the slide frame and barrel.

But it had carry wear. Despite that some wouldn't approve I refinished it. So other the night sights being somewhat dim the gun looks and shoots great.

I am just not sure of what I actually have value wise though I can't find enough online info.
Here are some pics. I should wait until I get some photos under better lighting but I am posting them anyway.

Alot of oil on the gun in the pictures.

I would tell my insurance man that it is worth $2000. If I was selling it, I would take $1000 for it.

It is pretty much a custom pistol. Under rated, but custom nonetheless.

That is just my opinion Allen. It is a nice 1911.
