Our girl Riley, swimming in Lake Michigan back in 2015.

Unfortunately this week she has been diagnosed with lymphoma that has progressed very rapidly through her lymph nodes. We are going Tuesday to see an oncologist but we think it's too late.

I am heartbroken. She's my buddy. She's always been there then take the trash cans around, walk down to the mailbox, play with her toys and play ball in the front yard. I have the feeling that this week is not going to be a good week.

I know this is a national dog day thread but yesterday we had to say goodbye to our lab Riley. The cancer spread too fast and she was struggling and we had to make the decision yesterday. This weekend sucks. Waking up this morning and not having her greeting me or jumping into bed has been hard. It's amazing how fast the cancer spreads and takes them. Just last week we were still playing some ball in the front yard.

    Good bye Riley.
