10mm self defense rounds are about the same as .45acp self defense rounds. Plinking rounds the 10mm will be a buck or so more a box depending. Reloading it's the same cost.

I just finished another 200, 10mm rounds. Cost less than .15 cents a round or less than $7.50 a box for 50.
I used to save broken wheel weights at work and I still have a couple of 5 gallon buckets full of them.
Some call it work, I call it a hobby.
Last week I finished up 250 each of .38 special and .357 Magnum.
All it cost me is powder and primers and gives me something useful to do during the winter.

10mm, when you care enough to send the very best.

Thanks to a couple of folks here who were downsizing, my 10mm family has grown. I picked up a G20sf and a G29sf in the last week. A couple months ago I got the LWD 6.6" threaded barrel for the G20 and last week I ordered the long slide upper for the G20, so I'm on my way to a Glock20 Long Slide as well.

Once I get the upper in and built I'll post a new family pic.

Nice collection. I'd love to have a 10mm Carbine! I own several, 6-7, 10mm autos and revolvers but no long guns. I was shooting my Witness a couple weeks ago when the stupid 10 shot mag, the Ban era mag with the dimples and cut in them, blew completely in half! So now I have a beauiful single shot Wonder Finish Witness!! :xmad: Tried contacting EAA to no avail.

At least it wasn't your slide that broke.

The Witness is a pretty solid gun. One of my Deltas is an early model and I keep a close eye on the frame but I've never had any issues. Most 10mm factory loads nowadays are loaded a little light from what I undestand. I have some loads from a "friend" that are pretty spicey though! :D

    Very nice!

I did not know about the 10mm rifle.

What is the velocity and energy of the rounds from the rifle?

....so you are running a 10mm rescue?

I feel like it. I'm getting about 1650fps with a 180gr bullet, and I can push it higher.

My bare upper for my long slide G20 came in a couple weeks ago and I got the parts (except the sights) to finish it today. I already had the 6.5" barrel so I spent a half hour putting it all together

and fired my plinking rounds through it (180gr, 1150fps through the stock Glock), smooth as silk and very soft shooting!

Now this got bumped up, may I add my admiration for your 1006? I've got a 4506-1 with the target sights and would love to find a matching 1006 some day.

That's a nice collection. It looks like you're all in for 10mm. In fact, I might have to bookmark this page as a reference for when someone asks 'What is available in 10mm?". This page pretty much sums it up. Nice work.

    That's not a 1006. Looks more like a 1066.
