The spray paint is pretty damn durable. I have stripped a couple of stocks, and it was in no way easy. It has not seen in heavy abuse as of yet, but just day to day, it is defiantly durable.

How easy are mag changes with that VFG there? (not that you're competing / training and need fast mag changes...)

I'm not at all sure what route I'm going with my AK. I haven't even bought any ammo or mags for mine yet. Still waiting on a pistol to sell off of Guns America for the extra capital!

It does not imped mag changes at all. Before I decided on its final location, I made sure that I could easily change mags.
