I haven't shot it, but I have a friend who has one. It is a pretty slick package and assembles easily. He says it shoots well, and he really likes it. He's not a dyed-in-the-wool gun guy, so I take that with a grain of salt. There may be a bunch of bad reports, but this isn't one of them.
I owned one several years ago. It was heavy, but stupid accurate. More of a play toy than anything else.
The biggest complaints I had were:
1) the vibration transmitted through the skeletonized stock and into the cheek started to fatigue my face after a hundred rounds or so. The stock insert and cover helped mitigate this, but did not entirely eliminate the problem.
2) the Glock CCUs require a separate feed ramp insert to be installed into the pistol frame prior to attaching the CCU itself. This is a small part that could easily get lost or forgotten, and requires some way to keep track of it.
I eventually decided to put all my eggs into the 9mm AR "basket," so I sold the CCU and don't really regret it.
Do you think that it would have been better with the telescoping 4 position ar-15 style stock they offer? They sell cheek pads for those.
Could you epoxy the part in place? It is a plastic gun after all! :-)
I don't know; it wasn't an option back when I had mine. If the AR stock uses a regular (hollow) buffer tube, then the answer is probably no as it will still transmit vibration.

The feed ramp sits on the locking block of the Glock pistol receiver; permanently attaching it would render the receiver incapable of being used with the pistol slide. i.e., it's a bad idea.
I have one in 10 mm and it has always done very well for me. I reload and it does not damage the cases at all even though it is a blow-back action. I have a 45 mm Red Dot sight mounted on it and it is very quick to aquire a target. Mech-Tech systems has come out with a lot of neat new assesories since I purchased mine. Have a great week. Regards, Dan.
