It’s hilarious—or, idunno, maybe not—when someone says on twitter that the vaccine mandate executive orders are unconstitutional, and then all the Leagle-Eagle acolytes come out of the woodwork citing Jacobson v Massachusetts where SCOTUS upheld a local government’s vaccine mandate. State and local governments probably have the power to enact such legislation. The President, through executive order, does kit. I don’t even think congress has such power to do it legislatively.
