My Mkii TR came w the beefy tacticool stock. Think they make a threaded bbl version.

Its a tank w that stock and hvy bbl.
Ill prolly pillar bed it this summer. Currently trying to decide on optic. Had SWFA 12x and it was OK.

These guys have said it, but ill chime in on my +1 for savage and CZ. Savage for their reasonable prices adn CZ because they are just darn beautiful and well made. I am pretty interested in the Begara, but I'll need to make some room in the safe before I add another 22 to the collection.

My 455 is OK, but I fail to see why so many get wound up over em. Solid, just nothing fancy.

But then the plastic mag on my 541 T HB was so annoying i dumped that rifle.

The plastic mag on the 455 is better. Actually not of any concern. The small bolt handle of the Rem 541 was blah too

Kinda like Anschutz the best, and not even the upper end. But honesty says I dont shoot enough to justify such a purchase. If i was a gung ho squirrel killer yeah.

Occasionally you get a nice chunk of wood on the CZ. This one happens to be a 452.

It's in 17 HM2, and shows more accuracy potential than my Anschutz in 17 HM2.

More to the point of this thread, Savages are known for good accuracy, sometimes great. The one below was bought with the plastic stock, cheap. Then I grabbed the laminated stock off a different Savage and it was a good match. This one is in 22 Mag, but it shot 5 rounds into .375" at 50 yards on it's first outing. And it has a threaded barrel.

I would get this Savage. I have one and love it and barrel is threaded.

This is a good price and I hear very favorable feedback on these.
