Long distanse targer shooting scope

Hello:
I am looking to procure a scope for long distance target shooting with a possible 308 or 7MM rifle, bubget can be up to $800.00. I look forward to your advise and thanks for your time.

Look into the lower end Swarvoski and upper end Leupold 'scopes.

I would recommend side focus and variable power. If you go with fixed power, 10x would probably be your best bet.

I've had very good luck with the Weaver T-36 scopes. I have 5 of 'em and really like 'em....around $400

you can try the millet LRS-1. they run between 430 and 500. its a big scope...6-25x56, and a 35mm tube! without the sunshade its 18in long. 140 total elevation travel

Falcon has a 5-25x56 for $475 with a Front Focal Plane Reticle.

They're worth a good look. I have the 4-14x44 FFP and its an amazing scope. I just wish they had the bigger ones when I bought mine.
