I used to work as a producer for Fox59...

I've been on these late night runs in the truck...

I also imagine that drawing a gun while on the job would have led to some uncomfortable conversations with HR.

So are the news vans a Gun Free Zone for employees?

Honestly, I don't remember the official company policy, but I'm sure the employee handbook had a line about no weapons.

I was mainly confined to the studio, but I did get to go into the field from time to time. I also know for certain there are a couple reporters there that have an LTCH. I couldn't tell you how much they actually carry though.
