    I've been spending most of my time with Ableton Live, stringed instruments and keyboards. The software is German, vicious and unyielding.

    If there is one bit of advice I could give today it would be: Don't wait to learn that new skill. Old age is not receptive to change and retention of novelty.

    That's pretty darn ambitious. I'm afraid if I tried to cram that kind of knowledge into my noggin at this stage I would lose the ability to retain more important things like where I put my keys and how to make ice cubes and stuff like that.

    He snuck out one night and was gone for 3 months.
