We've been fighting this monstrosity for over 10 years, but it keeps coming back like the zombie idea that it is. It's funny, too that the price tag has consistently gotten larger and now sits at $1.3 Billion, (which is .3 billion more than we told them it would cost 10 years ago). Hopefully this boondoggle will finally die the death it deserves.

Awww, we should all have to pay so that people in Noblesville can take the train into Indy. Of course the fares would be subsidized too.

    That is nice to hear!

They can do a few upgrades to the local roads for that money that would improve traffic flow more than taking a handful of cars off of I69 which would be like taking a sack of rice, removing 100 grains, and expecting to see a difference.

On the other hand, if that money doesn't exist yet, as in we haven't been taxed even worse than now, it would be nice to leave the money where it is, in our pockets!

The last study done on the matter showed that building it would remove, best case scenario, 4 out of 100 cars from the I-69 corridor. All for well over a billion dollars.
