I make stuff at work all day, so I don’t really do it for fun when I’m home, but I did make this a couple years ago out of some pallets I had in the barn. It’s sort of a tribute to my favorite album of all time, The Allman Brothers, live at the Fillmore.

One of my hobbies is building scale models. Keeps me out of trouble… Some of my “Projects “ because I don’t think I ever actually finish one before getting distracted and start another one.

My uncle was BIG into plane models before he passed.

Thx, yes I had to sacrifice some capacity for accessibility.

I'd buy either one.
So do you physically make them yourself or are you designing them then having them drop shipped to your customers?

I used to make them but now the quantities are higher than I can control so they're subbed out.

I started working with copper back in November. Happened across a Youtube video of someone making a simple twisted wire bracelet and needed to get off my butt and do something so I went out to the barn and made one real quick, didn't think much of it or about it at the time. I had it on at Thanksgiving and a few members of the family commented on it (I've never been much of one to wear jewelry) and my step mother asked me to make her one. A few days later I did and realized how long it had been since I did anything creative and how much I enjoyed it so I kept going. Started posting pics on social media and got a lot of encouragement so I started a small business earlier last month and I now have a display set up at a local shop, a website and an Etsy store. No one's buying anything so it may end up a waste of time but it's kept me busy anyway which is something I needed.

Excellent work! I have recently (4-5 yrs ago) started painting miniatures and pieces for board games. A few of my prouder pieces...

I used to do many different things, but not so much any more.
It's usually caused by either no money, or no time, but I lost interest in a lot of what I used to do.

Here's a few various projects.


I used to make pens, and the body of the pens were cast by myself from composite materials.

I eventually moved to what was considered "kitless", but I don't have any pics of those.

Dash insert for a thirdgen.

Cedar flower boxes.

Address signs.

Grips.

Last summers project in progress.

Scrolling.

It does it very well. The smoker box is double walled with fire proof insulation. The fire box is 1/4 inch plate with a serpentine style fire set up. It will maintain 225-250 with ease.
