I lost my black ESEE 4 so bought this FDE version from Revolver Tactical Brad at the last Indy1500 show. I just found the black one attached to my 2nd plate carrier.

Oh well... can't have too many ESEE.

Found this rehandled Old Hickory at a yard sale, the antler handle is super comfortable, you can see where the blade was reshaped too. The factory Old Hickory .
I've taken quite a few of these that I have repurposed the blades that I have bought from garage sales also. My brother-inlaw carries his daily as his work knife in the Lou. He asked me to make a folder and I explained to him even with my carbide spade bits, the pivot would be hard to drill. I tried to spot anneal it but I couldn't get the Rockwell low enough to drill. I don't have a way to temper it or even a reason to collect old motor oil. That is why I stick to A2 tool steel, beta titanium, 6-4 ti or Stellite.

Traded some ammo on INGO for this Caublestone Cutlery Custom Honesuki kitchen/chef knife. Hand forged 26c3 steel @ 63 rc , 7" blade, maple and ironwood handle with blued titanium spacer. This is my first hand forged blade I will enjoy greatly in the kitchen. Protech carry knife for comparison.

If you're interested in the knife maker, Daniel Cauble is on Youtube, Facebook & Instagram.

I don't like the looks, but I'm interested in the way it's built/design.
One could buy a frame and then buy several different blades to fit the need.
One blade for edc, then switch out the blade for going hunting with a gut hook, or a blade for fishing.
    Possibilities are endless.
