Here’s a dandy OTF. Probably the best I’ve seen since my brothers brought some home from the usmc in 1969 that had to be pushed back in by pushing the blade in against a board. Not mine and don’t believe there are any on the market and will be a stupid amount if they were. 1696307883450.png

I found this to be interesting. Decent way to conceal a knife.
At the price point I don't expect much from it, but could be useful.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Is that any good?
I read its supposed to be the Chinese equivalent to the Japanese AUS-8.

Two finger grip for tactical flexibility! Plastic tab for fast destructive deployment, just the once. Mystery steel made from pop cans and rusty exhaust pipe. But wait! that's not all! it's got free rope already attached!

If someone could make something like this with decent steel I think it would sell.
If it had better steel I'd be interested in one myself, and giving them out for gifts.

The 8cr stuff isn’t horrible. I don’t think a knife of that design would be used enough to warrant something high-end. It’s a cool idea as an emergency blade.

Received today from the Buck custom shop. I would call it more "personalized" than custom, basically chose the colors and engraving. I'm not a knife enthusiast or collector, carry one every day and wanted something a little nicer without sinking the equivalent of a house payment into it.
