Just picked this up today. Looking forward to getting my forge cleaned and fixed up, picking up a few hammers, and turning some steel bars into knives. I've decided to start a company named JAGknives and have a goal to launch at the March 1500. Hopefully, this will be something that I enjoy and gain a lot of skill at so I can possibly make some additional income.
Let me know if you have any pointers for me. Still trying to get my shop set up and find a reasonably priced grinder to get going. My focus at the start is going to be fixed-blade tacticals, a survival knife, and a tactical folder. I hope to learn enough to start experimenting with demascus in the next 6 months and possibly expand into gentlemen's folders and possibly demascus kitchen knives. I'll post updates of my work here when I start making progress.
