Just picked up a Golani Sporter

Hello all. I just picked up a Golani Sporter for $550. Is that a good price or did I get hosed? Also, will it handle 556 or will I have to shoot .223 through it all the time?

LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY!!!!! That is a good price, I've wanted one for awhile, and the one I was looking at was $699. Dunno about the ammo, I would think 5.56 is ok

Was it new or used? If the former, that's an excellent price. If the latter, about average depending on condition.

Should have a military (5.56) chamber.

I bought it used, but barely... It didn't have marks from the safety until I got it

The one at my gun store was about $700 for a few months at least and then they lowered it to $550. It was a century rifle.
