He is right about the curriculum being the school, not him.

Fighting Pistol / Advanced Fighting Pistol are the best live fire classes I have taken and it is because of the lesson plan/execution.

I laughed a few times watching that.

I'll say one thing. He's staying true to himself all the way to the end. I'll give him credit for that. (Meant this as a compliment) I wouldn't wish ALS on anyone. I wish continued success for TR after he passes. They've done a lot of good training thousands and I find no fault in that.

My sfather had ALS, it was two years from Hopkins diagnoses to his death.
It was interesting that once diagnosed all drugs that would improve life were stopped by his ALS doctor at Johns Hopkins.
He was told ALS is terminal and those drugs would do nothing for him.
My sfather and one of my sons about 6 months before he died.
Its not as bad of death as Parkinsons like my father, its still a ****** way to die.
You just watch yourself wither away.

No matter what anyone's personal feelings are about JY this video update underscores the fact that there are loved ones who are going through a difficult time in their lives dealing with the realization that they are slowly losing someone that they love.

I know that feeling because I lost my mother to a debilitating illness that progressively took her life. It was heart wrenching to witness it.

So I will just offer a prayer for them for I am sympathetic to what they are experiencing.

Regardless of the persons attribute, they are at minimum someone’s son or daughter, possibly a husband or wife or a Parent. Often Life is not fair.

I had a grandma die of ALS. She didn't get her diagnosis until the night she died. She spent months and months seeing specialists, seeking answers, hoping to find out what was wrong and how to get better.

I know the outcome wouldn't have changed, just wish she could have known a little sooner so she could have lived her last days a little different.

Met JY several times over the years.

He always was friendly, respectful and I always took a positive genuine impression of him.
I took a few classes in Camden and sat next to him at dinner and was really impressed by the mindset of his school. He was also a great dinner conversationalist.

I am certain that good people are alive today because of his school.

I am equally certain that there are people chomping at the bit to make cute comments about yeager running away.

RIP JY. You stayed true to yourself and who you were all the way through the end. I'll give you credit for that.

Thought he was on his way over to Ukraine till the end?
Video said he passed peacefully with family (most would prefer that).
    RIP
