Although I have never been shot with a shotgun, I would assume it would be much more painful than how that guy reacted. If I were to guess they dropped out all of the shot and what you see is the wad. Maybe it was a salt gun or perhaps a less-lethal round? Either way I don't think that was a real shell.

EDIT: Another thing to back up what I had said. Look at the shotgun recoil. Seems fishy to me.

Yeah, I'm guessing it was a bean bag round or they just hit him with the wad. I don't know for sure. Either way, I would be pretty pissed if I was the guy getting shot.

Fake or not, if any of my "friends" ever shot me with birdshot while I was peeing, they would not live to see the following morning.

I'm a ham radio operator and was one day installing a antenna up on my tower. My neighbor two houses over thought it would be funny if he shot me in the back of the leg with a bb gun. Which this idiot did so and with me not expecting it, i was caught off guard to say the least. Talk about someone getting instantly PO'd. At this point I didn't say anything and proceeded with my work and came down from the tower. For some reason i kept a cool head and went to have a talk with his illiterate ass. OH, did I mention this idiot has a LTCH.

Long story short, I informed him that if I fell off the tower and was seriously injured or even worse that either me or my wife would insure he would be homeless without a cent to his name.

I felt I had to share this because nothing sets me off like misuse and handling of a firearm.

There was no noticeable recoil... seems fake to me.
