    Without seeing the pic, I have to assume you fount a hollow-point .22 Hornet. Is there reason to believe it is anything else?

    Edit: I though you were saying that the hollow-point cavity was .102...

    Don't show this to the AR guys, they will want to build an upper for this round too... :laugh:

    Looks like a .22 hornet necked down to that bullet size.
    Probably custom made, but where would you get .103 Squirrel dies?
    wonder what that round Chrono's at?? MV has to be way up there.

    Excuse my ignorance, please. I have never heard of anything smaller than the .17. What would the purpose of such a round be? It is being called a squirrel gun, but why would this be any better than a .22? Distance, Maybe? What kind of velocities are we talking? Where would you get a barrel for the rifle? It is a centerfire and not a rimfire, is it not? The ammo would all be custom made?

    necked down (to .123 inch) 30 carbine case

    one so bad!) is a necked down (to .144 inch ) 25 ACP

    necked down a .22 rem jet a 218 bee and a 222 magnum down to .144
    inch


    the 14/222 E Mag pushes a bullet over 4000 FPS in a second.

    Shoot a squirrel and make sure the bullet passes through it...and the tree behind him.
