I suppose it may depend upon the creature, and also depend upon the caliber you've got at your disposal, but perhaps some of you have experience in dispatching wildlife that's a threat?
Where do you shoot to kill an animal? Wolf? Wild dogs? Bear? Bobcat?
Right behind the front shoulder (heart, Lungs, Liver) has been the best from my experience. I have hunted hogs, dogs, deer with gun and bow. Anything else would be a much higher chance of wounding and losing the animal.
