Looks like they are compensating for a lack of flashbangs by firing into the ceiling. Yikes. That is not a tactic I would recommend.

Man, it seems like one flashbang and one clean shot would have done the same thing as the 17 shots they fired. I am sure that at least a few of those went through those walls and into surrounding apartments.

I don't think it was on purpose. I think he had his booger hook on the trigger when they entered and got excited letting off 1/2 a mag.

I'm sure he got what was coming to him from his team mates afterwards.

Could have been blanks, I don't see any debris falling from the ceiling. Budget cutting on the flash bangs lol.

Reason I say this is that none of the other officers seemed in the least bit surprised about the gun going off.

I agree, everyone else seemed to be business as usual. If I was carrying the blanks, I wouldn't be the third guy in... Or if I was, it would be in and around the inside frame of the door to stay the hell out of the way. I wonder if he drew the short straw.

Yeah looks like those were intentional shots aimed at the ceiling. Designed to scare the guy and hopefully stun him for a second or two so the guys in front could get him.

I know if my apartment door got beat in, and I heard rapid shots I would most likely hit the floor lol.
