Come on 88, that's why they make sporks! :):

It is true though that the goal should be to be capable of operating many firearms.

And that goes for that whole "don't use the slide release because your fine motor skills go to crap in a defensive situation." You think pulling the trigger and dropping a mag is a gross motor skill?:)

Sporks are the .40 of fine dining. Not one or the other, but a bit of both

I carry a Glock 30.3 with HYVE +1 base plate to fit my hands and same with spare mag or a Glock 23.3 with a different base plate also to fit my hands plus a spare mag setup the same way.

For a different rotation S&W 457 with a spare mag or a Sig P229 with a spare mag.

The first two shoot the same way, striker fire and the next two shoot the same way DA/SA and I spend time with all of the depending on rotation.

Knives I carry an Ontario Rat 3 and the left side because I like it and a Zero Tolerance 0350 in right front pocket.

    Flashlight Olight I5T EOS.

Looks like I've got the same as most people, 1 summer gun (J-Frame) and 1 winter gun (Shield).
Everything else was lost in a boating accident.

Now that I have proper "tuckable" N8 Tactical holsters for all actual & potential CC, the list has gone up lately.

    Normal Small CC:
    Sig 365: 10+1 or 12+1
XD-S: 8+1 (love the feel & sights better than the 365)
Note: I hated to give up the DAO Kahr CT9 (8+1), but did so when I bought the XD-S.

    Smallest (rarely needed):
    Beretta Tomcat: 7+1 (.32acp)

    Medium CC:
    CZ Rami: 10+1 or 14+1)

    Larger CC (potential option):
    Ruger P89: 15+1 -- 18+1

    Revolver:
    Kimber 6s: 6 rds.

Two, although one gun gets almost all the carry time, and that is a Sig365. The Sig365 is just SO EASY to carry, and SO EASY to shoot well. Sometimes, although rarely, I carry my M&P Compact 2.0, also in 9mm. An important note, my carry gun is also my primary range gun because, God forbid I ever need to use it in self defense, I want the most familiar gun I own to be in my hand.
