What a disaster for Minneapolis to have now.

    Mother. Of. Pearl.

Potentially Reckless Homicide. See what happens.
We don't always agree Kirk but I'm with you 100% on this. Problem is that "social justice" or equity will not accept that charge. They will demand murder 1 or 2 and then the city will implode when they can't convict on the higher charge.

I did not like the fact that the prosecution bungled the Murder of my friend and neighbor, but I did not burn any cars or throw rocks. I just voted against the incumbent, fat load of good that did me but I have to move on.

I understand the frustration, it is about how to channel it that needs to be addressed.

It's a failing of society that this has to be explained.
Correct, sad state of today's society that something so simple has to be explained.
And this has been getting progressively worse since the Michael Brown fiasco because there are people who refuse to speak up and state that this is the result of people resisting arrest by any means necessary.

People need to start understanding what gun owners have been saying for years, that this phrase not only applys to gun owners, but to the common person and even criminals on the street who decides to resist arrest.....

I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Nuff said, this should self explanatory.

During a virtual workshop after the meeting, Council Member Kris Lawrence-Anderson said she voted to fire Boganey out of fear of potential reprisals from protestors if she did not, according to the newspaper.

"He was doing a great job. I respect him dearly," Lawrence-Anderson said. "I didn't want repercussions at a personal level."

So she voted to fire him to protect him?

I gotta admit I didn't expect this to turn out the way it did. This is already on its face a bigger screwup for the police than Floyd. Lady cop shot a dude out of sheer negligence and didn't even know she was pulling the trigger on a Glock and not a Taser until it went off. Unbelievable.

It would honestly be better if they'd simply shot him because he was wanted on a felony warrant and attempted to flee in a vehicle, provoking a high speed chase and endangering the public. But no, it's negligence plain as day. Minneapolis gonna be a smoking ruin.
