Not enough carnage for the liberal media to do much with it. Especially since a shotgun was used.
I think it will just be a blurb for a couple of days, then we won't hear much more about it.

Arapahoe High gunman held strong political beliefs

In one Facebook post, Pierson attacks the philosophies of economist Adam Smith, who through his invisible-hand theory pushed the notion that the free market was self-regulating. In another post, he describes himself as "Keynesian."
    ...
Pierson also appears to mock Republicans on another Facebook post, writing "you republicans are so cute" and posting an image that reads: "The Republican Party: Health Care: Let 'em Die, Climate Change: Let 'em Die, Gun Violence: Let 'em Die, Women's Rights: Let 'em Die, More War: Let 'em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?"

Interesting that the title, which is written to make you think his politics were important, yet you had to read down to the second half of the article to get any idea what those strong political beliefs were. Whether or not politics had anything to do with this outburst, these attacks seem to rarely come from "right-wingers" or Tea Party folks that the media keeps on searching for.

Apparently he agrees with the Republicans' alleged belief about gun violence, eh? ;)

From what I've been able to gather from several articles, the target, the librarian, was also the debate team coach. The shooter was the captain at one point. He had a rif with the coach on some team issue and was disciplined, and then no longer captain. There are conflicting reports whether the kid was actually kicked off the debate team or not, but at some point he threatened to kill the debate coach, and was suspended from school.

The person in critical condition didn't try to subdue the shooter as was reported earlier. It was a girl who happened to be in the hallway when he started shooting. She was apparently not intentionally targeted, just unfortunate.

The shooter was a socialist, but had strong opinions about gun rights. Non of the articles I could find actually said pro or anti, just that he had strong opinions. I would assume he was pro-gun though. He wanted to go to the Air Force Academy.

Seems guns and socialists don't always mix well. Maybe there's something to "projecting".

As we've seen recently though, being in the military doesn't necessarily mean you are pro-gun.

I didn't mean to imply that because he wanted to go to the AF academy, that he was pro gun. I only lean towards that belief because that, along with the wording in a few articles seem to imply pro-gun more strongly. I can't say with certainty which. But I wouldn't put it past the media to imply untrue things just to make the story.

Okay so he wasn't just a soccialist. He was full on nutjob commie.

"...one described Mr. Pierson, a senior, as an outspoken proponent of political views that were unpopular with others at the school. Chris Davis, an 18-year-old senior, recalled Mr. Pierson once wore a shirt emblazoned with the letters U.S.S.R. and described himself as a communist."

Maybe I'll update with a link to the article. Too much a PITA on the iPhone.

Communists no longer exist, they are now "progressives". :dunno:

Contrary to popular gun-grabber endorsements... this bad guy with a gun was stopped by a good guy with a gun. GOOD GUY WITH A GUN: Armed school officer stopped Arapahoe High School shooting

I've been surveying main stream news sources to see how they're covering the story, and though I've read a couple of sources that mention the resource officer they mostly leave it up to the reader to conclude that he is why it ended quickly.

But I loved the way the article lables the gun grabbing .orgs "citizen control cults".

Shooter killed himself after being confronted by an ARMRD RESOURCE OFFICER.

Destroys the narrative. I think leftists know it's logical, they just prefer the anti-constitutional route.
