    It is french brass, looks like nickel cupro bullets, to be tracers they should have a red-orange tip marking but since they have in on primer it could be unless that is a sealant? that is all i know

    Just corrosive French ball ammo, not tracers
    I was told that US military ammo after 52 was non corrosive....is that not true for French ammo?
    IOW, do you know for a fact that it is corrosive?

    It is definetly corrosive and probably has bad primers. I pulled a lot of that stuff down for the bullets 30 years ago.
