I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I've owned different types of guns since I was a little boy.

Trying to get my wife (of two years) used to the idea of shooting a gun and having them around us more. She wasn't raised around them, so is a little "stand offish" about them. We are going to get her professional training so she will be comfortable with them. We both thought it was a good idea to have someone else train her.

Am starting the search for a home defense gun. Something that can be used IF the need arises.

I have 4 grown kids and I think all of the ladies in the family need to be trained to use a gun - just for their protection.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
