    It's a nice story and it happens every day all over this country, it's just not reported much. But, it's not what most on this website want to see because it's positive.

    I liked it not only because it's a positive story (very rare indeed in the media nowadays seemingly), but because it showed that a person can indeed find their way out of even the deepest emotional holes. Obviously, without someone who cared enough to save her from her bad choices, it wouldn't have mattered. I thought she is a sort of poster child for addiction recovery and life repurposing...and the officer is a living example of folks in blue still being able to care about those they save, regardless of how much human nastiness they have to deal with on a daily basis. Win-win all around. :yesway:
