IoP charges are actually one of the few that are treated harshly.

That's cute. My sister just had a temp no contact order on her ex-husband, after he threatened to bust out all the windows on her car and take the kids from her at all costs,
    Words, not even illegal ones.
after currently being investigated for child abuse on his new wife's kids.
Sustained? If not, it is meaningless for her purposes.
While having that temp order her called her and harassed her and threatened her in that time period. Went to court and they threw out the order snd said he did nothing to deserve one.
I hope police were called after EACH violation and proof shown to them. The reports then go to the District Detectives who present the case to the screener, who files the warrant. I've seen/done this time and time again. On the countless outright arrests I've made for IoP, they NEVER made bail. Prosecutors ALWAYS took them seriously, until the victims stopped cooperating.

Which is a high percentage of the time. I wish prosecutors would start charging petitioners for violating their own orders.
