If the hunters keep pretending like defending the 2nd doesn't pertain to them they will soon find themselves on the chopping block with noone left to defend them.

    So many cowards and traitors.

Worried about perception, gosh golly, geez... I hope the organizer suffers from his decision. Terrible, terrible EBR's...

The anti gun forces know the only way the can win is to divide gun owners and turn them against each other. Hunters willing to sacrifice tactical weapons will find themselves as the next target. Anti gun owners and liberal government are willing to attack this on the long term. They are smart and know how to do battle. A divided enemy is an easy target .

Great, how long before we see this as a common theme? Gun owners who are willing to bend and make accommodations sicken me.

I think for some hunters and other non-enthusiasts it is just that they aren't paying attention or think it wont effect them. Their passion is hunting and not the gun or the 2nd amendment. They don't all understand the give an inch, lose a mile (aka your hunting rifle) methodology of the government. If they did, they would probably change their tune.

    "Assault weapons"

Even the announcement for the PA show used the word "tactical" rather than "assault".

I think we're way overdue to change our terminology. I've never owned an assault rifle. I have a couple of AR15 target/varmint rifles, though.

Define the word "tactical?" Cause I can go hunting with my uncle's 700 which has an expensive scope that is attached to a rail. The shotgun he uses to hunt has camo paint on it but it has rails on it.

Does rails equal tactical or what?
