'Gun loving liberals' are welcome to the debate, but who can they vote for?

Not sure I have seen any facts to back up your claims. I means the 6th, 7th and 8th richest people on the entire planet (according to Forbes) are the highly-political and conservative Kochs and Sheldon Adelson.

Also, I've not previously seen anything to indicated that the families of Rockefeller, Ford and Carnegie lean one way or the other. Do you have sources for these positions?

Ford family foundation supports all sorts of leftwing groups to include funding La Raza at $25 million each year. The Rockefeller family has their people running as democrats. John Corzine was governor of NJ and NJ senator as well as the head of Goldman-Sachs. In the 1980s the rich started taking over the democrats.

The book "The New Leviathan: How the Left-Wing Money-Machine Shapes American Politics and Threatens America's Future" documented how many of the wealthy families hide their money in tax free foundations then use that money to fund left wing causes. It is about how the rich are now the democrat party.

How can Democrat be "Anti-American," if they are American themselves? They're probably just Anti-"Your vision of America," and Pro "their vision of America." It's collective beliefs define what an American is.

No many democrats dislike their own country, see it as the root of all evil. And wish that it was destroyed.

Remember that for the elite you can not be a "real democrat" unless you have a college degree. Or better yet a Masters degree. The masses, while voting for the democrats, are just too stupid to be allowed to make decisions for themselves. Plus the elites within the democrats believe that many of the masses are little more than human pollution.

Where are they going to go....Crimea. The great one, Obama "said we need to fundementally change America." Well he's doing a great job of it. Wanting to make America into screwed up socialist Europe is not liking America, it's disliking it enough to put up a huge effort to change it. Most people that vote democrat don't even think so deeply to know it, they just mostly think they are getting back at the man for keeping them poor. For the record the repubs are not that much better, they still view the country as Politicians VS The People and they aren't the people.

One could easily say one is independent, but the term has become meaningless – or maybe it was always so? No, I would say I am more Progressive of the Paul Krugman stripe, with libertarian tendencies when it comes to personal rights.
