I use the STARTPAGE search engine. Privacy is #1 and it is customizable. Same search results as GOOGLE without all the BS.

I dumped Bing and I'll dump Google as well. No problem here. I'm sure that heads will notice when the boycott of their advertising products takes a dive.
Don't spend a red cent on any company's products that support these control freaks.

Actually, they're not banning searches for those items at all. They are just not going to accept Google Ads for those items. You'll still be able to search to your hearts content for all those things. Reading is fundamental.

So? Websites all over the world log your IP when you hit their site and some when you leave. Doesn't bother me. Google can only put a name to that if you're logged in as a Google user. I've got many things to worry about. That ain't one of them. Hell, I'd be willing to bet INGO does the same.

It wont change anything if you're using adblock softwares anyway.

It's been a while since I have seen ads online.

Maybe gun makers and ammo makers will start supporting more of the local gun forums. Market direct to the people. Word of mouth works too.
