    I absolutely love mushrooms but I've never educated myself about which can be found here in IN and which of those are edible. Someday...

    They usually grow at the base of tree's and old tree stumps. I haven't picked those since I was little. My grandmother and I found about 90lb's of them in one day in the early 70's. We called them wild cauliflower. They are good!! As usual, be sure of what you are eating! Pass or ask! I am going to have to keep an eye out. Although it's to early up here "yet!"
