    I liked them both so...I purchased a Sig P229 in .40 and then a Glock 35 in .40. Love them both :):

Well, it's really a question of old German engineering (Tiger tank, Me-109, SIG) versus new German engineering ( HK, Glock, VW Jetta). Now isn't it? Me? I own and shoot both...Glock 19 & 23, Sig 220 & 225. I prefers the 220....bigger boolits.....

    I read somewhere.....

"USPs are what Glocks would become if allowed to fully gestate in the womb."

I think there's some truth to that statement ;) After all, we all know real pistols have hammers!

Take back the "SIGS SUCK!" and "If you don't own a Glock then you SUCK too!" and I *might* reconsider not posting it for you...

    *whistles innocently*

Ok I take it back. You don't suck. There ya happy now?? :rolleyesedit:

I have had the Glocks (19, 23, 30 and 33), the Sigs (220, 226, 228 and 229) and the HK's (Tac45, USPc45). Currently own a P7M8 but that will be gone soon too. Back to the 1911 for me.

If I had to rate those that I listed (not including the 1911), my top three choices would look like this:

    HK P7M8
    Sig 228
    Sig 226

I love both Sig and Glock pistols. If I had to pick I think I'd side with the Sig. The only reason is my Sig fits my hand much better and I shoot it just a bit better than my Glocks. It would be a sad day if I could only have one.

I like both, I carried a p220 for 7 years as my primary carry weapon. I shot my first Glock 4 months ago and quickly purchased a G19od. This is my new primary carry weapon. I just like the feel of it and I do shoot it better. I have been guilty in the past of calling them cheap, ugly pieces of plastic. But I guess we all have to grow up sometime.:stickpoke: :lmfao:
I say shoot what ya like. They're both very good weapons.
