I’ve wanted a Beretta 92 for some time but just never pulled the trigger (pun intended) but saw a Girsan Regard Gen 4 Sport in a LGS and thought it seemed like a quality built firearm. I made two changes to it. I put in a 14# hammer spring from Langdon Tactical and an M9 slide stop. The reason for the latter is to make the slide lock to the rear with M9 surplus magazines. I bought a bunch of them off the web and figured I could drop them in the dirt and on concrete rather than the MecGar mags that I bought.

I always use the Dot Torture test to evaluate how I interact with a new pistol. There is a specific drill for the TDA semi-autos out there and the one I shot with this pistol is on the far right of the picture.

I really like this pistol and have enjoyed shooting and carrying it too.
