I have a SUV that has run nothing but premium gas it’s whole lifetime. Says run premium gas so I do. 5.77 a gallon. If I keep my foot out of it and babysit the pedal I get 18.5 miles per gallon.

Madison county 4.99 to 4.89 for the other cars and truck. Needless to say I drive the other cars more than the premium SUV but I do put some miles on it.

Since the lockdowns did not hold the gas prices seem to. A better job of keeping people at home.
What kind of engine? I've always heard that most engines don't require premium gas. It's usually high end sports cars with specialty engines.

I own a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Kinda a Toyota freak vehicle with suicide doors and three windshield washers. It is the 4.0 engine found in lots of Toyota trucks and SUV’s like the 4Runner. The guy I purchased it from always ran premium fuel and always had it serviced at Toyota dealership even every oil change (and I have a copy of everything ever done service wise). I think it is factory turned to use premium gas.

I know my boss has the same engine 2019 and runs regular gas. Toyota 4runner and he gets less than 16 MPG. The FJ is basically the same thing size wise but 250 pounds lighter and I get 18.5 tuned for it? Maybe.

Since it is a toy for me I just pay at the pump to play. I look at it like shooting Eley match in a target 22.

I drive it to special things but it is basically my mistress. She drinks a lot and only top shelf but if you like to be inside her sometimes you got to pay the price.

I just ran out of my 3.75 a gallon gas can and I think I have one at 3.99 left but I keep 60 gallons of gas in gas cans at the homestead.

I got a pretty good deal on some extra gas cans during Covid. They are the new style that spill all over the place. Wife thinks I am nuts pumping the gas from those into to old gas cans with vents.

5 acres of mowing takes gas.

The "good news" is that the vast majority of remote vehicle connectivity is based on 3G wireless technology, which is quickly being phased out in most US markets. So soon, my Jeep with UConnect will be deaf and dumb.

And as technology is removed from infrastructure, it appears cheap on gray markets where the criminal element can experiment with it at their leisure.

As much **** as the press core gave Trump's press secretaries I think it would be fair to ask Jean-Pierre if she grows tired of covering for the Biden's corruption, or if she's just too new at the job to notice that this is what her job is.

I found that Rural king has replacement flexible nozzles for the old, style gas cans, They look like they would screw on any of them. The new dispenser type nozzles are really unsafe, it takes 4 hands to pour gas in an outdoor piece of equipment, and 5 hands if you need a funnel.

Begging them. If he had not shut down our oil industry and left things the way Trump had them we would still be the number one oil producers and exporters in the world.
