FedEx man dropped off a Service Grade Winchester M1 yesterday. Serial number puts it in the Oct/Nov 1943 range. Most parts are SA. The stock is new CMP wood. Eventually it'll be replaced with a GI stock.

They all live happily inside my Johnson BR-540 that was delivered last week. Merry Christmas to me!

Just sent paper work on Monday for a Special and Service grade. How long did it take once you mailed the info in? This is my first time purchasing through mail.

After shooting my m1a for the first time, I wanted an m1 really bad. The whole design is awesome.

This one only took about a week. I got this one through the CMP auction though. The CMP forum would be a good place to look for current turn around times.
