    FedEx man dropped off a Service Grade Winchester M1 yesterday. Serial number puts it in the Oct/Nov 1943 range. Most parts are SA. The stock is new CMP wood. Eventually it'll be replaced with a GI stock.

    Just sent paper work on Monday for a Special and Service grade. How long did it take once you mailed the info in? This is my first time purchasing through mail.

    This one only took about a week. I got this one through the CMP auction though. The CMP forum would be a good place to look for current turn around times.
