G23>>>>>G19

Just aquired a G23, and want to get a G19 barrel to use in it. Found G19c barrel for very reasonable price. Are these any different than the regular G19 barrels? Will this work for my conversion? Thanks

First of all, you have to get a conversion barrel to shoot 9mm through a 40 caliber glock, therefore the 19c barrel will NOT work -

Secondly, the 19c barrel is compensated (two holes on the top of it near the muzzle) it is not the same as a regular g19 barrel.

Lastly, I do believe if you get a glock 19 slide/barrel you can just switch out the 23 slide/barrel and use the same frame.

Ok so not just any G19 will do, has to be a "conversion barrel". Correct?

I believe the 9mm conversion barrels have a larger outer diameter than standard G19 ones

Well looks like I'll be investing in a conversion barrel. Anyone have any experience here? Recommendations? Other testimonials?

Have the 9mm mags covered (G17 and 33 rounders) just need the barrel then I'll be in business!
