Just the notion that "RIGHTS" are assumed wrankles me a bit.
    NO!
Rights have to be fought for, earned the hard way and then defended at length. Rights are not free.
They don't just naturally appear other than as a concept.
You want them to be real, you have to make them real and then keep them real.
I tell people, that 'rights' doesn't mean FREE.
the 2nd amendment does not mean the government (taxpayer) BUYs you a gun.
the 1st amendment does not mean they buy me a newspaper, or TV station.

I have the right to pursue, to try, to attempt.
    That's all.

But NOW, people think it means FREE healthcare
    FREE housing
    FREE food.

    NO!

    NO!

They take the cooperative greed of capitalism and turn it around into the antagonistic greed of Marxism.

That didn't stop them from creating Public Broadcasting, which is really government propaganda. My libtard neighbor once proclaimed that she listens to PBS because their news is unbiased. Oh, is she ever in the dark.

Also I remember a guy years ago who had "Live Free or Die" tattooed to his arm but apparently disconnected from his brain because he believed that all education should be free. I guess it just shows that we and they both believe in freedom, just that their definition of freedom is to take other peoples' goods for free, where we believe freedom is to earn your own goods without government interference.

This song is who they were.

    Imagine there's no Heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No Hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today
    Ah, ah, ah-ah
    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion, too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace
    Yoo-hoo, ooh-ooh
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world
    Yoo-hoo, ooh-ooh
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
