Point out the percentage of shootings that are done by people associated with the 'left'.
Then ask if he would be okay with just banning them from the 'left'.

A longtime old girlfriend used to always listen to "All Things Considered" on NPR and claim it was unbiased.
I always called it "One Side Considered" to tweak her.
