That's just so idiotic. Paying for stuff that someone else provides is the way societal evolution has best resolved division of labor. It's a more peaceful way than bullies confiscating resources. Student debt isn't a punishment. The student entered a transaction with the school to purchase a service, to educate them and certify that education with a degree. They owe the price they agreed to pay, and debt is a tool that allows consumers to push the payment over time, into the future. That idiotic mother****er should just be happy we don't still have debtors' prison.
