That's the beauty of it. If you're making the definitions, you get to decide what is what. So, if, for example, you decide the threshold for "violence is" less than three innocent people are killed, then, viola! "Non violent!"

I suspect that there was a purpose beyond just "hey, let's [STRIKE]abolish[/STRIKE] defund police because systemic racism. As polling consistently showed Democrats that people don't want it, and it's actually hurting Democrats, they removed their tacit and overt support.
