Some guy also had some stuff that looked like it had literally been buried in the ground that he was selling for insane prices too.
I really question what that was all about.
All that stuff had been thru a pretty bad fire and they were asking some really stupid prices.
Were they smoking horse manure or something or am I just missing something?
Maybe someone else knows the story behind this...

It Seemed that the panic is starting to die off as most of the suckers have spent themselves out of the market. I seen plenty of metal AR mags with $20 tags just being used as paper weights and the guys that still think that a pmag is worth $50 or more will end up packing them back up at the end of the show, because they just were not selling! AR sales seemed to have come down about $500, the gous looking to get $1800 were proud that they still had them and the ones that were working in the $1300-$1500 range were still selling. This is just what I experienced at the show today.

Yeah a lot of overpriced magazines and ARs/AKs....but....
I sold a handgun and then bought a Swedish Mauser! I'll buy the stuff others sell to fund their PMag fetish.

My neighbor went and told me not to waste my time since he knows I'm cheap. Went out and shot some pistols for a while and prepped a couple hundred rounds of brass so I ended up having a good day.

Speaking of the gun show in ft. Wayne how was the volume of people? Last time Obama won I made the mistake of going to the first 1500 in Indy and it was insane. Couldn't really enjoy the show and look at much. Way too many people. Was there a lot of price gouging going on? I will make it to the show next weekend in ft Wayne. Just trying to get a feel for what to expect. Thanks in advance...

I don't look down on any dealer for marking items up due to market conditions. That's the way capitalism works. What I love are the smart ones that price their wares a less than the others. They were really busy at the gun show and I'm sure made much more money than the 'gougers'.

As far as volume was concerned, Friday night was unbelievably busy, I waited about 20 minutes to get in the door.

This was my first time going to this show and it will be the last. Complete waste of time, mostly junk at ridiculous prices.

that's why I have not gone to one of those shows in 20+ years
not only a waste of time ---- but they charge you to park and also to go look at a bunch of overpriced stuff.
If I was an antique gun collector it may be worth the cost
but I am not an antique gun collector ( unless you count my 30 yr old Ruger 10/22 )

ooops --- i will now remove foot from mouth
was this last one at K's? or the Coliseum??
not that it really matters to me ( i wouldn't have gone either way )

This one was at K's, the one at the Coliseum is better. The Coliseum show is worth going to just for ZX Guns if you're looking to buy something.
