If I'm gonna shoot it I'd better hit what I'm aiming at...so a phone call to EGW and they sent me a plate to replace my rear sight.
Add the Trijicon SRO and start huntin' "×" rings.

After not shooting my 1911 for a few years after not being able to see the sights any longer I went the same route and ordered an EGW mount for my Springfield Range Officer. Although my sight is Burris Fastfire 3. Let us know how that Smith shoots!

I'd be interested to know how secure/reliable that mount is. I may have to try it myself

What I want to know is have you fired it yet?
If not step out the back door find a tree at least 8" diameter and fire away. Otherwise shooting the ground works too.

Good!! Enjoy the pistol , I recommend firing at least 1 magazine of 185gr+P just for the experience. Those Scandium guns are LIGHT
