Unfortunately, the decision in Florida is in a trial court, in a criminal trial, and it's "as applied" to that specific charge with that specific defendant, the result of such a decision in a criminal trial. It's not considered "precedential", i.e. it shouldn't be cited in other cases, although that won't stop it from being cited. We can hope for an appeal that would be upheld in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals -- if the DoJ is willing to bet on winning it. Otherwise, they'll lick their wounds and pretend it didn't happen.
