Fishing Lake Michigan

Wondering if anybody has been shore or stream fishing for coho/salmon this year. I haven't gone in several years but am thinking about it.
Should be good until mid April or so. We always used a slip bobber with nightcrawlers, spawn sacs and frozen herring works well on the lakeshore.

My brother in law goes up with a few buddies each year. They use Fire Drill fishing charters out of Michigan City. Hope you go and have a great time. They all seem to really enjoy it.

They have been fishing the piers at Mi City and along southern shoreline cities. They are getting some. We have been fishing the lake and it is still a little slow for us.
