I played around enough with the load to figure out that they are never Going to have acceptable accuracy for me. I was hoping that they'd make a wicked coyote load....62 gr fmj going 4000+ fps.....

I used to shoot Remingtons Accelerators in my .30-06 with good enough accuracy to hit groundhogs at 350+ yards. There is a "gunsmith" in Martinsville that sells these that they load. I tried a couple in my Howa 20" .308 and was very disapointed. The first round locked the bolt closed and I had to use a cleaning rod at home to tap it out. Needless to say it was a very hot load with huge amounts of muzzle flash, but this "gunsmith" is known for very hot loads. Remington still loads them in .30-30 and .30-06 about once a year for a short production run.... I thought there were legal issues with the .308, so Remington dropped that caliber.:dunno:
