So those of you who have been around a while 
may have noticed Lars and me being pretty quiet recently. We've been kind of busy lately. So busy, in fact, that we stepped down from keeping you guys in line.
This is why: As of about 2pm today, this little angel officially made us her legal parents!

PS... I would just like to thank whomever decided NAP TIME was the best time for this hearing. My sister (the one in the purple shirt, and our darling's biological mother) said she felt sorry for the court recorder that had to listen back to the tape and type out the transcript. I have to agree. If they can hear anyone over the shouts of, "Mommy, come ON!" as the angel tried to get me out of my seat, I'll be surprised.
